January 6, 2023: Asotin, WA 99402 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the St. George's Dragons (Spokane, WA) and the host Asotin Panthers (Asotin, WA), saw St. George's's basketball squad overcome Asotin by a tally of 43-24.
With the victory, St. George's improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Liberty (Spangle, WA) to confront the Lancers in a 2B Bi-County challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Liberty lost 55-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Okanogan (Okanogan, WA)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Davenport Gorillas (Davenport, WA) in a 2B Bi-County challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Asotin will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Gorillas come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 54-23 league win over Kettle Falls (Kettle Falls, WA).
