Florida High School Basketball - Palmetto crushes Cypress Bay

Palmetto Panthers (Miami, FL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cypress Bay Lightning (Weston, FL), 56-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Palmetto upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy (Melbourne, FL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 10-3. Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy lost 58-51 in their recent non-league bout against Miami Christian (Miami, FL)

Next up, the Lightning play the Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart Cyclones (Miami, FL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Cypress Bay will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Cyclones come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 56-15 non-league win over Nova (Davie, FL).
