Louisiana High School Basketball - Patterson nips East Iberville
January 6, 2023: St. Gabriel, LA 70776 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Patterson Lumberjacks (Patterson, LA) and the host East Iberville Tigers (St. Gabriel, LA), saw Patterson's basketball squad hold off East Iberville by a tally of 45-39.
With the victory, Patterson improves its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks host Berwick (Berwick, LA) to play the Panthers in a 3A District 8 challenge on Friday, January 13. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 5-6.
Next up, the Tigers play the Livonia Wildcats (Livonia, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. East Iberville will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 63-38 non-league loss to Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA).
