Ethan Rustlers (Ethan, SD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Wessington Springs Spartans (Wessington Springs, SD), 56-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ethan upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Rustlers travel to Bridgewater/Emery (Emery, SD) to play the Huskies in a B Region 3 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Bridgewater/Emery lost 63-26 in their recent non-league bout against Freeman (Freeman, SD)

Next up, the Spartans play the Andes Central/Dakota Christian (Lake Andes, SD) in a B Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Wessington Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
