January 6, 2023: Utica, OH 43080 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Utica Redskins (Utica, OH) and the visiting Lakewood Lancers (Hebron, OH), saw Utica's basketball squad overcome Lakewood by a tally of 46-33.
With the victory, Utica improves its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Newark Catholic (Newark, OH) to play the Green Wave in a Licking County - Cardinal challenge on Wednesday, January 11. The Green Wave come into the challenge with a record of 10-2. Newark Catholic won 59-36 in their recent league challenge against Heath (Heath, OH)
Next up, the Lancers play the West Muskingum Tornadoes (Zanesville, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 9. Lakewood will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Tornadoes come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 34-28 league win over New Lexington (New Lexington, OH).
