Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the North Fayette Hawks (West Union, IA) and the host West Central Blue Devils (Maynard, IA), saw North Fayette's basketball squad knock off West Central by a tally of 50-33.

With the victory, North Fayette improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Kee (Lansing, IA) to play the Kee Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Kee Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Kee lost 57-29 in their recent league challenge against Turkey Valley (Jackson Junction, IA)
