January 6, 2023: New Braunfels, TX 78130 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX) and the visiting Franklin Cougars (El Paso, TX), saw Canyon's soccer squad get by Franklin by a margin of 1-0.
The Cougars now sport a 2-1 record. They play next when they host San Marcos for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10. Canyon will encounter a Rattlers squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Pasadena Memorial (Pasadena, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Franklin drops to 2-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX) to encounter the Rangers in a non-league test on Saturday, January 7.
