Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes (Summerville, SC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Cane Bay Cobras (Summerville, SC), 41-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Ashley Ridge upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Swamp Foxes host Fort Dorchester (North Charleston, SC) to play the Patriots in a bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Fort Dorchester lost 36-26 in their recent non-league bout against Cane Bay (Summerville, SC)

Next up, the Cobras play the Wando Warriors (Mt. Pleasant, SC) in a bout, on Monday, January 9. Cane Bay will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 38-37 non-league loss to West Ashley (Charleston, SC).
