January 6, 2023: Ogallala, NE 69153 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Ogallala Indians (Ogallala, NE) and the visiting Cozad Haymakers (Cozad, NE), saw Ogallala's basketball squad hold off Cozad by a tally of 43-38.
With the victory, Ogallala improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Sidney (Sidney, NE) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 13. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Haymakers play the St. Patrick's Irish (North Platte, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Cozad will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Irish come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 61-45 non-league win over Elm Creek (Elm Creek, NE).
