Florida High School Basketball - Excel Christian Academy nips Winter Haven Christian
January 6, 2023: Winter Haven, FL 33839 Excel Christian Academy Spartans (Lakeland, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Winter Haven Christian Warriors (Winter Haven, FL), 42-41 in a league bout.
With the win, Excel Christian Academy upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to Vanguard (Lake Wales, FL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Vanguard lost 74-0 in their recent non-league bout against Oasis Christian (Winter Haven, FL)
Next up, the Warriors play the Candlelight Christian Academy Flames (Lake Wales, FL) in a bout, on Monday, January 9. Winter Haven Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
