California High School Basketball - Lincoln holds off Washington
January 6, 2023: San Francisco, CA 94121 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lincoln Mustangs (San Francisco, CA) and the host Washington Eagles (San Francisco, CA), saw Lincoln's basketball squad hold off Washington by a tally of 35-32.
With the victory, Lincoln improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Galileo (San Francisco, CA) to confront the Lions in a challenge on Monday, January 9. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Galileo lost 49-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Terra Nova (Pacifica, CA)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Justin-Siena Braves (Napa, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Washington will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 65-28 league win over Vintage (Napa, CA).
