Virginia High School Basketball - Covenant falls to Virginia Academy

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Virginia Academy Patriots basketball team scored a good 54-44 triumph over the Covenant Eagles.

In their next game, the Patriots meet the Shabach Christian Academy (Landover, MD) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, February 15. Virginia Academy will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.

With the defeat, Covenant moves to 8-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA) to meet the Gryphons in a match on Tuesday, January 10. The Gryphons enter the match with a record of 3-4. New Covenant lost 37-34 in their recent league match against Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA)
