Texas High School Soccer - Pearce held off by Rockwall
January 6, 2023: Rockwall, TX 75087 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Rockwall Yellowjackets (Rockwall, TX) and the visiting Pearce Mustangs (Richardson, TX), saw Rockwall's soccer squad get by Pearce by a margin of 1-0.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Kimball for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7. Rockwall will meet a Knights squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Garland (Garland, TX). The Knights record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Pearce drops to 1-1 on the season. The Mustangs host Dallas Jesuit (Dallas, TX) to meet the Rangers in a 6A Region 1 District 7 test on Tuesday, January 10. The Rangers come into the test with a record of 1-0. Dallas Jesuit 2-2 in their recent non-league test against Skyline (Dallas, TX)
