The Ray Bearcats basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Bagdad Sultans to 31 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Saturday.

The Bearcats now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Desert Christian for a 1A Tucson Northwest contest on Wednesday, January 10. Ray will battle a Eagles team coming off a 76-37 non-league win over Madison Highland Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 14-4.

The Sultans (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Basis (Flagstaff, AZ). The Yeti come into the non-league contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Basis triumphed over Red Mesa (Teec Nos Pos, AZ), 64-43, in a league contest.
