Connecticut High School Basketball - Fitch crushes Bassick

Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bassick Lions (Bridgeport, CT), 77-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fitch upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Falcons travel to St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT) to clash with the Saints in a Eastern Connecticut I bout on Monday, January 8. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 6-2. St. Bernard won 67-61 in their recent league bout against New London (New London, CT)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Westhill Vikings (Stamford, CT) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Bassick will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
