Illinois High School Basketball - Cornerstone Christian knocked off by Beardstown
January 6, 2024: Beardstown, IL 62618 The Beardstown Tigers basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Cornerstone Christian Cyclones to 49 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Astoria/VIT for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Beardstown will meet a Rebels team coming off a 51-37 league loss to Bushnell-Prairie City (Bushnell, IL). The Rebels record now stands at 8-7.
The Cyclones (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Tri-Point (Cullom, IL). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 1-16 record.
