January 6, 2024: Bertrand, NE 68927 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the South Loup (Arnold, NE) and the host Bertrand Vikings (Bertrand, NE), saw South Loup's basketball squad knock off Bertrand by a count of 60-49.
With the victory, South Loup upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The travel to Maxwell (Maxwell, NE) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 12. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-9.
Next up, the Vikings play the Southwest Roughriders (Bartley, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Bertrand will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record.
