New York High School Basketball - Colton-Pierrepont can't hold off Boquet Valley

The Boquet Valley Griffins basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Colton-Pierrepont Colts to 46 in the Griffins non-league victory on Saturday.

The Griffins now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seton Catholic Central for a Section 7 Mountain Valley contest on Tuesday, January 9. Boquet Valley will battle a Knights team coming off a 98-34 league loss to Crown Point (Crown Point, NY). The Knights record now stands at 1-7.

The Colts (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Tupper Lake (Tupper Lake, NY). The Lumberjacks come into the Section 10 East contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Tupper Lake edged Chateaugay (Chateaugay, NY), 59-32, in a league contest.
