New Jersey High School Basketball - Whitehaven topped by Camden
January 6, 2024: Camden, NJ 08103 The Camden Panthers basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Whitehaven Tigers to 49 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastside for a Olympic - National contest on Tuesday, January 9. Camden will battle a Tigers team coming off a 37-34 league loss to Bishop Eustace Prep (Pennsauken, NJ). The Tigers record now stands at 5-2.
The Tigers (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Memphis East (Memphis, TN). The Mustangs come into the 4A District 16 contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Memphis East dropped by Christian Brothers (St. Louis, MO), 53-49, in a non-league contest.
