New York High School Basketball - McQuaid Jesuit knocked off by Canisius

The Canisius Crusaders basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting McQuaid Jesuit Knights to 48 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Crusaders now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary's for a Monsignor Martin contest on Tuesday, January 9. Canisius will meet a Lancers team coming off a 65-40 non-league loss to Bishop Grimes (East Syracuse, NY). The Lancers record now stands at 4-5.

The Knights (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Edison Tech (Rochester, NY). The Inventors enter the contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Edison Tech was outscored by Eastridge (Rochester, NY), 70-61, in a non-league contest.
