January 6, 2024: Winston-Salem, NC 27101 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Carolina Day Wildcats (Asheville, NC) and the host Salem Baptist Christian Vikings (Winston-Salem, NC), saw Carolina Day's basketball squad hold off Salem Baptist Christian by a tally of 43-41.
With the victory, Carolina Day improves its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Asheville Trailblazers (Asheville, NC) to confront the Trailblazers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Trailblazers come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Asheville Trailblazers won 71-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Bob Jones Academy (Greenville, SC)
Next up, the Vikings confront the University Christian Barracudas (Hickory, NC) in a NCISAA Foothills challenge, on Friday, January 12. Salem Baptist Christian will attempt to improve on its 0-14 season record.
