Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Crete Cardinals (Crete, NE) and the host Scottsbluff Bearcats (Scottsbluff, NE), saw Crete's basketball squad overcome Scottsbluff by a tally of 55-38.

With the victory, Crete improves its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to York (York, NE) to play the Dukes in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 12. The Dukes come into the challenge with a record of 6-5.

Next up, the Bearcats play the Central Indians (Cheyenne, WY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Scottsbluff will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record.
