California High School Basketball - Richmond ripped by Deer Valley
January 6, 2024: Richmond, CA 94804 The Deer Valley Wolverines basketball team scored 81 points and held the host Richmond Oilers to 30 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wolverines now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pittsburg for a Bay Valley contest on Tuesday, January 9. Deer Valley will meet a Pirates team coming off a 90-64 non-league win over Rodriguez (Fairfield, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 12-4.
The Oilers (0-12) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy (Richmond, CA). The Eagles enter the Tri-County - Stone contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, Kennedy was routed by El Cerrito (El Cerrito, CA), 66-48, in a league contest.
