January 6, 2024: Downers Grove, IL 60515 The Downers Grove North Trojans (Downers Grove, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL), 46-34 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Trojans (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL). The Red Devils go into the West Suburban - Silver test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Hinsdale Central went down by Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL), 53-44, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 12-5 record. They play next when they host Fremd for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 9. Prospect will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 56-45 non-league win over Hampshire (Hampshire, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 10-5.
