Oklahoma High School Basketball - Stillwater nips Enid
January 6, 2024: Stillwater, OK 74075 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Stillwater Pioneers (Stillwater, OK) and the visiting Enid Plainsmen (Enid, OK), saw Stillwater's basketball squad hold off Enid by a count of 62-59.
With the victory, Stillwater upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Bixby (Bixby, OK) to play the Spartans in a 6A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Bixby lost 88-79 in their recent league challenge against Southmoore (Moore, OK)
Next up, the Plainsmen play the Edmond Memorial Bulldogs (Edmond, OK) in a 6A District 3 challenge, on Monday, January 8. Enid will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 51-39 non-league win over Choctaw (Choctaw, OK).
