January 6, 2024: Fort Totten, ND 58335 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Four Winds/Minnewaukan Indians (Fort Totten, ND) and the visiting Standing Rock Warriors (Fort Yates, ND), saw Four Winds/Minnewaukan's basketball squad hold off Standing Rock by a count of 78-73.
With the victory, Four Winds/Minnewaukan upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Indians host Carrington (Carrington, ND) to play the Cardinals in a A Region 2 challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Carrington won 59-57 in their recent non-league challenge against New Rockford-Sheyenne (New Rockford, ND)
Next up, the Warriors play the McLaughlin Mustangs (McLaughlin, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Standing Rock will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 53-45 non-league win over Crow Creek (Stephan, SD).
