Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA) and the host Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS (San Mateo, CA), saw San Mateo's basketball squad knock off Hillsdale by a count of 57-37.

With the victory, San Mateo upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Woodside (Woodside, CA) to play the Wildcats in a Peninsula - Ocean challenge on Wednesday, January 10. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Woodside won 69-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Hill (San Jose, CA)

Next up, the FIGHTING KNIGHTS play the Jefferson Grizzlies (Daly City, CA) in a Peninsula - Bay challenge, on Wednesday, January 10. Hillsdale will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 62-51 non-league win over Westmoor (Daly City, CA).
