Minnesota High School Basketball - Spring Grove nips Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton
January 6, 2024: Spring Grove, MN 55974 Spring Grove Lions (Spring Grove, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Bulldogs (Janesville, MN), 64-58 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Spring Grove upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Grand Meadow (Grand Meadow, MN) to play the Superlarks in a A Section 1 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Superlarks go into the bout with a record of 1-10. Grand Meadow won 64-43 in their recent league bout against Schaeffer Academy (Rochester, MN)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Medford Tigers (Medford, MN) in a AA Section 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 62-25 non-league loss to Hayfield (Hayfield, MN).
