January 6, 2024: Williamsport, OH 43164 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Madison Plains Golden Eagles (London, OH) basketball squad nipped the host Westfall Mustangs (Williamsport, OH), by a margin of 57-56.
The Golden Eagles (4-8) will now prepare for their outing against West Jefferson (West Jefferson, OH). The Roughriders go into the Ohio Heritage outing with a 1-7 record. In their last outing, West Jefferson was tipped by Cedarville (Cedarville, OH), 71-32, in a league outing.
The Mustangs now own a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Piketon for a Scioto Valley outing on Tuesday, January 9. Westfall will clash with a Redstreaks squad coming off a 62-43 league win over Huntington (Chillicothe, OH). The Redstreaks record now stands at 5-4.
