The Matanzas Pirates (Palm Coast, FL) basketball crushed the visiting Ridgeview Panthers (Orange Park, FL), 79-47 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Pirates (5-9) will now prepare for their test against University (Orange City, FL). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 1-13 record. In their last test, University was trounced by Lake Brantley (Altamonte Springs, FL), 55-34, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Mandarin for a non-league test on Monday, January 8. Ridgeview will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 77-40 non-league win over Sand Rock (Leesburg, AL). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-5.
