The Miami Trace Panthers basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Zane Trace Pioneers to 46 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chillicothe for a Frontier contest on Tuesday, January 9. Miami Trace will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 60-49 non-league win over Western Brown (Mt. Orab, OH). The Cavaliers record now stands at 5-6.

The Pioneers (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Paint Valley (Bainbridge, OH). The Bearcats come into the Scioto Valley contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Paint Valley was defeated by Lynchburg-Clay (Lynchburg, OH), 38-35, in a non-league contest.
