New Jersey High School Basketball - Paul VI topped by Morris Catholic
January 6, 2024: Denville, NJ 07834 The Morris Catholic Crusaders basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Paul VI Eagles to 40 in the Crusaders non-league victory on Saturday.
The Crusaders now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pequannock for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Morris Catholic will battle a Golden Panthers team coming off a 75-69 non-league loss to Hanover Park (East Hanover, NJ). The Golden Panthers record now stands at 4-4.
The Eagles (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Camden Catholic (Cherry Hill, NJ). The Fighting Irish come into the Olympic - National contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Camden Catholic prevailed over Kingsway (Woolwich Township, NJ), 63-45, in a non-league contest.
