January 6, 2024: Orange, NJ 07050 The Orange Tornadoes (Orange, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting West Orange Mountaineers (West Orange, NJ), 58-40 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Tornadoes (6-4) will now prepare for their test against University (Newark, NJ). The Phoenix go into the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, University notched a victory over Barringer (Newark, NJ), 43-39, in a non-league test.
The Mountaineers now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Barringer for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 9. West Orange will encounter a Blue Bears squad coming off a 43-39 non-league loss to University (Newark, NJ). The Blue Bears record now stands at 2-3.
