California High School Basketball - Sonora fells Portola
January 6, 2024: La Habra, CA 90631 Sonora Raiders (La Habra, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Portola Bulldogs (Irvine, CA), 80-62 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sonora upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Raiders travel to Buena Park (Buena Park, CA) to clash with the Coyotes in a Freeway bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 11-8. Buena Park lost 69-59 in their recent non-league bout against Santa Ana (Santa Ana, CA)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Beckman Patriots (Irvine, CA) in a Pacific Coast bout, on Monday, January 8. Portola will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 68-64 non-league win over Capistrano Valley Christian (San Juan Capistrano, CA).
