California High School Basketball - San Gabriel Academy edges St. Francis
January 6, 2024: La Canada, CA 91011 The San Gabriel Academy Eagles (San Gabriel, CA) basketball nipped the host St. Francis Golden Knights (La Canada, CA), 49-46 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Eagles (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Canyon (Anaheim, CA). The Comanches go into the non-league test with a 13-4 record. In their last test, Canyon got by Crespi (Encino, CA), 54-50, in a non-league test.
The Golden Knights now own a 14-6 record. They play next when they host Notre Dame (SO) for a Mission test on Wednesday, January 10. St. Francis will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 74-70 non-league win over De La Salle (Concord, CA). The Knights record now stands at 17-0.
