With the victory, Talawanda improves its record to 1-10 on the campaign. The Brave host Monroe (Monroe, OH) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Monroe won 48-36 in their recent league challenge against Ross (Hamilton, OH)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Brookville Blue Devils (Brookville, OH) in a Southwestern Buckeye - Buckeye challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Valley View will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 75-66 league loss to Oakwood (Dayton, OH).
