Delaware High School Basketball - William Penn nips Tower Hill
January 6, 2024: New Castle, DE 19720 William Penn Colonials (New Castle, DE) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Tower Hill Hillers (Wilmington, DE), 44-39 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, William Penn upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Colonials travel to Salesianum (Wilmington, DE) to play the Sallies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Sallies come into the bout with a record of 4-5. Salesianum lost 84-77 in their recent non-league bout against St. Elizabeth (Wilmington, DE)
Next up, the Hillers play the Sanford Warriors (Hockessin, DE) in a Independent Schools bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Tower Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 61-59 non-league loss to Dover (Dover, DE).
