South Dakota High School Basketball - Little Wound nudges Aberdeen Christian
January 6, 2024: Kyle, SD 57752 Little Wound Mustangs (Kyle, SD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Aberdeen Christian Knights (Aberdeen, SD), 48-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Little Wound upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Pine Ridge (Pine Ridge, SD) to clash with the Thorpes in a A Region 7 bout on Thursday, January 11. The Thorpes go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Pine Ridge lost 67-37 in their recent non-league bout against McLaughlin (McLaughlin, SD)
Next up, the Knights clash with the Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds (Wolsey, SD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Aberdeen Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Warbirds go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 54-35 non-league win over Langford (Langford, SD).
