January 6, 2024: Alpharetta, GA 30005 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Horizon Christian Academy Warriors (Cumming, GA) and the host Alpharetta Raiders (Alpharetta, GA), saw Horizon Christian Academy's basketball squad wallop Alpharetta by a count of 57-36.
With the victory, Horizon Christian Academy upgrades its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host Shiloh Hills Christian (Kennesaw, GA) to play the Challengers in a GAPPS - I-AA Region 2A challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Challengers come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Shiloh Hills Christian won 45-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Excel Christian Academy (Cartersville, GA)
Next up, the Raiders play the Johns Creek Gladiators (Johns Creek, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Alpharetta will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Gladiators come into the challenge with a 2-15 record after their 63-19 league loss to Lassiter (Marietta, GA).
