Oklahoma High School Basketball - Southmoore edges Beggs
January 6, 2024: Beggs, OK 74421 The Southmoore SaberCats (Moore, OK) basketball nipped the host Beggs Demons (Beggs, OK), 54-47 in Saturday's non-league test.
The SaberCats (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Broken Arrow (Broken Arrow, OK). The Tigers go into the 6A District 4 test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Broken Arrow got by Stillwater (Stillwater, OK), 70-47, in a non-league test.
The Demons now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Kellyville for a Big Eight Star test on Tuesday, January 9. Beggs will encounter a Ponies squad coming off a 36-34 non-league loss to Prague (Prague, OK). The Ponies record now stands at 7-4.
