California High School Basketball - Mira Costa routs Birmingham

January 6, 2024: Manhattan Beach, CA 90266

In Saturday's non-league outing, the Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Birmingham Patriots (Lake Balboa, CA), by a margin of 66-37.

The Mustangs (17-2) will now prepare for their outing against Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, CA). The Panthers go into the Bay outing with a 9-7 record. In their last outing, Peninsula smashed Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA), 49-45, in a league outing.

The Patriots now own a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Chatsworth for a West Valley outing on Wednesday, January 10. Birmingham will clash with a Chancellors squad coming off a 47-34 non-league loss to Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA). The Chancellors record now stands at 13-5.
