The Northgate Broncos basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Castlemont Knights to 38 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Broncos now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berean Christian for a Diablo contest on Tuesday, January 9. Northgate will meet a Eagles team coming off a 34-13 non-league win over St. Vincent de Paul (Petaluma, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 12-3.

The Knights (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against El Cerrito (El Cerrito, CA). The Gauchos enter the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, El Cerrito was outscored by Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, CA), 55-39, in a non-league contest.
