Washington High School Basketball - Clarkston overwhelms Mt. Spokane
January 6, 2024: Mead, WA 99021 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Clarkston Bantams (Clarkston, WA) and the host Mt. Spokane Wildcats (Mead, WA), saw Clarkston's basketball squad wallop Mt. Spokane by a tally of 71-45.
With the victory, Clarkston improves its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Bantams host West Valley (Spokane, WA) to play the Eagles in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. West Valley won 48-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Ferris (Spokane, WA)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Ferris Saxons (Spokane, WA) in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge, on Monday, January 8. Mt. Spokane will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Saxons come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 53-44 league win over Cheney (Cheney, WA).
