Idaho High School Basketball - Coeur d'Alene tops University
January 6, 2024: Coeur d'Alene, ID 83815 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Coeur d'Alene Vikings (Coeur d'Alene, ID) and the visiting University Titans (Spokane, WA), saw Coeur d'Alene's basketball squad knock off University by a tally of 58-42.
With the victory, Coeur d'Alene improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Lake City (Coeur d'Alene, ID) to play the Timberwolves in a 5A/4A Inland Empire challenge on Friday, January 12. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a record of 15-1. Lake City won 54-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Sandpoint (Sandpoint, ID)
Next up, the Titans play the Central Valley Bears (Spokane Valley, WA) in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. University will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 65-44 league win over Ridgeline (Liberty Lake, WA).
