Delaware High School Basketball - Sanford overwhelms Dover
January 6, 2024: Hockessin, DE 19707 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Sanford Warriors (Hockessin, DE) and the visiting Dover Senators (Dover, DE), saw Sanford's basketball squad wallop Dover by a tally of 69-40.
With the victory, Sanford improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Tower Hill (Wilmington, DE) to confront the Hillers in a Independent Schools challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Hillers come into the challenge with a record of 2-4.
Next up, the Senators confront the Sussex Central Golden Knights (Georgetown, DE) in a Henlopen - Northern challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Dover will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record.
