In Saturday's non-league outing, the Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC) basketball squad edged the host Forsyth Country Day Furies (Lewisville, NC), by a count of 60-53.

The Eagles (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Bears go into the 1A/2A Catawba Shores outing with a 5-6 record. In their last outing, Bradford Prep was tipped by Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC), 63-16, in a league outing.

The Furies now hold a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Greensboro Day School for a NCISAA Piedmont outing on Tuesday, January 9.
