Oklahoma High School Basketball - Healdton knocked off by Sterling
January 6, 2024: Healdton, OK 73438 The Sterling Tigers basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Healdton Bulldogs to 34 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ninnekah for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Sterling will battle a Owls team coming off a 51-25 non-league loss to Wynnewood (Wynnewood, OK). The Owls record now stands at 1-13.
The Bulldogs (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Elmore City-Pernell (Elmore City, OK). The Badgers enter the Oilfield contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Elmore City-Pernell was defeated by Walters (Walters, OK), 66-32, in a league contest.
