Illinois High School Basketball - Hinsdale Central can't hold off New Trier
January 6, 2024: Hinsdale, IL 60521 The New Trier Trevians basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Hinsdale Central Red Devils to 57 in the Trevians non-league victory on Saturday.
The Trevians now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glenbrook North for a Central Suburban - South contest on Tuesday, January 9. New Trier will battle a Spartans team coming off a 49-33 non-league win over Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 11-5.
The Red Devils (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL). The Trojans come into the West Suburban - Silver contest with a 16-3 record. In their last contest, Downers Grove North edged Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL), 41-29, in a league contest.
