January 6, 2024: Moorhead, MN 56560 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the St. Michael-Albertville Knights (Albertville, MN) and the host Moorhead Spuds (Moorhead, MN), saw St. Michael-Albertville's basketball squad wallop Moorhead by a tally of 86-56.
With the victory, St. Michael-Albertville improves its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Knights host Maple Grove (Maple Grove, MN) to play the Crimson in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 8. The Crimson come into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Maple Grove won 78-38 in their recent league challenge against Champlin Park (Champlin, MN)
Next up, the Spuds play the Bemidji Lumberjacks (Bemidji, MN) in a AAAA Section 8 challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Moorhead will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record.
