Oklahoma High School Basketball - Okeene can't hold off Thomas-Fay-Custer
January 6, 2024: Okeene, OK 73763 The Thomas-Fay-Custer Terriers basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Okeene Whippets to 38 in the Terriers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Terriers now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lookeba-Sickles for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Thomas-Fay-Custer will battle a Panthers team coming off a 56-50 non-league win over Amber-Pocasset (Amber, OK). The Panthers record now stands at 14-1.
The Whippets (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Waynoka (Waynoka, OK). The Railroaders enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Waynoka was nudged by Covington-Douglas (Covington, OK), 37-31, in a non-league contest.
